Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage

Located not far away from Kandy, established in 1975. Just as the name suggests, it holds a unique disposition in the animal care. It’s success and fame has travelled not just within the country,

but also throughout the world to an extent where Pinnawala synonymous with the Sri Lankan Elephant. Currently the Orphanage is being a home to 93 elephants.

Introduction of Wild Life and Nature In Sri Lanka

Every year the Kandy city on absolute festive mood for the historical ‘Kandy Esela Perahara’, which parade the tooth relic, an event even continued even during the British era. This eye-catching occasion attracts thousands of tourists from around the globe.
